what classes should i take to become a game designer
What classes should I take my first quarter?
I'm a freshman coming into UCLA. I'm thinking of doing applied mathematics for now. Anyways these are the AP Scores I have coming into UCLA
Calc AB:5
Chemistry:1 (Lol)
US History:3
European History:3
English Language:4
English Literature:TBD
Statistics:TBD (I feel like I got at least a 4 though)
Anyways I'm thinking that I for sure want to take Math 31B. I'm in the college of L&S. What GE classes should I try to take to get requirements out of the way? Thanks.

Are you signed up to attend Orientation? They will help you sign up for your Fall quarter class then.

Yeah I'm going in July. But I still want to have an idea of what I want to take beforehand.

What most people do their first quarter is take 2 classes towards their major and 1 GE. For example, I'm finishing up my freshman year in ME and fall quarter I took math 32A, chem 20A, and a GE. As far as which GE you should take, just look at the list of possibilities and try to choose a class that you would find interesting.
Your NSA will probably tell you not to take more than 3 classes, but honestly if you think you can handle the workload in your first quarter go for it.

This, but avoid Felker, especially if you got a 1 in Chemistry. Try to get Li if you do 20A.

Most people I know took Chem, Math, and a GE. If you go to orientation they will help you out with what to take.
To find GEs look at the list of classes or search the sub for recommendations.
