Nicole Kidman's Beauty Routine Is Surprisingly Relatable

When Nicole Kidman isn't on set doing what she does all-time, the legendary actress likes to keep her beauty routine low-maintenance. To wit: She says she devotes just v minutes to her skincare regimen every morning and nighttime ("I've got to put my kids to bed and spend time with my husband [Keith Urban]. Are there any beauty items that your husband steals from you?
He's a pretty low-maintenance guy. Sometimes, though, I'll care for my whole family to a spa day and massage their feet and give them pedicures. You've walked endless ruby-red carpets. Do yous miss the excitement of it all?
I do miss the glamour and the party attribute. Initially I idea, "Oh, this is a relief. We can just dress our pinnacle halves for Zoom and that's it." But now I miss getting dressed upwardly and seeing other people dressed up. On the carpeting, I've always been partial to a low chignon and a red lipstick similar Giorgio Armani's Red Fire. I look dorsum at movies similar The Neat Gatsby, and I'g like, "Yes, that glamour is just exquisite." Non the ostentatiousness or the gluttony of it, only the embracing of that artful. Information technology is so overnice to look around a candlelit room full of people having fun and being festive.
Has there been a favorite character of yours from a beauty perspective?
Well, I'll never forget Satine [in Moulin Rouge!]. I hateful, yous can't beat sitting on a trapeze with 100 men in top hats below yous, right? Envision it! I accept a photo of me in the trailer with my kids, who were little at the time. I was wearing a top hat, a sequin corset, fishnets, and stilettos, and I was making dinner for them. It'south like, "I don't mind existence remembered similar this!"
